The year is 2012. There are few human beings who believe in the supernatural - and even fewer who thought that they would ever emerge.
The year was 2012... the year of the first apocalypse. With the planets aligned and the gates of Hell open, Earth was forever veiled in the darkness of night - sun doomed to never come up again. It was not quite the apocalypse that we humans had predicted... it was far worse. Instead of the world going down with a big boom, creatures from the Underworld entered the realm of humans - unafraid now, for the sun, their greatest weakness - was there no longer. Humans were doomed - those few who realized what was happening were too late... even to save themselves. It is now the year 2023 - there is only a small population of humans left, four hundred, at most. They live in the haven city of Asythopia. Yet, within these walls, even the last of our kind have become corrupt - within the walls that protect our small city, we have become nothing less than the savage and corrupt - half of the four hundred of our kind worship the Greek gods and wield powers that are beyond a sane person's imagination - the other half have turned savage and believe in the old ways of life - hunting and killing for survival. The city is divided into two parts - one dedicated to the cruel, vicious hunters (savages), the other to the magic-wielding supernaturals.
Outside the walls everything has been reclaimed by nature and the demons of Hell - vampires. Thriving in the night, strong as ever, they are led by the Princess, overlooking them with a cold gaze and a power which bewitches all men. Vampires are, unlike most think, a noble race of the supernatural - considered fallen angels, they wield the power of immortality - they are agile, strong, seductive - and their flawless beauty is considered most bewitching. They are ruled by a royal family; their hierarchy is much that of the medieval times - the royal family above the rest, nobles, ladies and lords - and then the normal vampires who follow in their midst. Then there are the tainted - those who have been turned by the pureblood vampires (the original vampires from Hell). But you should be a fool to think that the vampires are as together as they say to be - within their "noble" race, every one is for themselves - within the court of vampires, however, treachery reigns free. The only thing that does band all these blood-thirsty vampires together is one common goal - to overtake the human race.
